Finally Finished the Back Pack Mini

I had a really hard time when I was attaching the pages to the album cover. Finally I just added a couple more pages and it worked OK.

In the end I was pretty happy with how it turned out.  Kathy's classes are great!!

Brad Setter??

When I first saw this tool it seemed a little silly...do I really need a tool to set a brad?
But, honestly, after I tried it, it really is very helpful.  I don't know how many times I've been poked under the fingernail trying to open a tiny brad, this tool does it for you.  Is seems simple, and it is.  It's made by We R Memory Keepers and sells for about $6.99, but I've seen it at most of the places that have coupons.

ZEN GARDEN

Since I think I'm having withdrawal from not having a PaperPhenomenon UStream class for a couple of weeks, I decided to look at some of Kathy's recorded classes from the past few months.  Here are some photos of my take on her Zen Garden Mini Album.  I used her Gypsy file for the cover and the paper is DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies Stack.

This next one is a Criss Cross card.
And this last one is a gatefold card.
There is also a Tri-fold, a top fold and a side fold that I have not included photos of.  This mini was great fun to make.

Hooked on Minis

These are a few of the minis that I've been working on.  This first one is a Flutter Album that I found instructions for in a craft booklet called "Passion for Paper" by Catherine Mace.  I had photos from a trip to the Butterfly House that seemed perfect for this album.
The next two are Flip Albums (I found these instructions online by Scrapbook Eden).  They are addictive!!  And so easy.  The one trick I have found is to use lightweight cardstock or they won't fold together as well.
The really great thing about these Flip Albums is that they each hold at least 17 photos.
Hope you like.
